Softness

A softness unexpected
A culture quite unknown
An expression unfamiliar
To a western boy home grown

An awakening of the spirit
A filling of the heart
A giddy healing laughter
From a winged cupid dart

A natural untamed feeling
That’s shared between two souls
A privacy that’s uncommon
Warm fluid fills all holes

A secret patch of darkness
To hide what must be sin
From the gossips that surround us
And the prying eyes of men

To reach for bounded ecstasy
That rises toward the sky
To grasp a common surety
As safe as apple pie

As words close in around us
And gives us hope to dream
A courage will enfold us
And create our own esteem

Who is She

Fair of hair and light of face
She takes me to a sweeter place
Bright of eye and long of thigh
She takes my breaths and leaves a sigh

Full of lip and thin of waist
She takes my will, leaves legs of paste
A gentle smile and words of honey
She takes my warmth and leaves me sunny

An open mystery, a covered flame
A girl, a child, a woman, a dame
She moves in closer, just to the brink
Excitement, adventure, to live, ohh to drink

Girl

I saw you before you noticed
I yearned before you cared
I watched as you grew closer
I gathered strength & then I dared

I dared to pluck on heartstrings
To empty out my Purse
To open hidden wounds
That you alone could nurse

I gave you raw emotions
You gave an open ear
You say I gave you courage
I say you calmed my fear

You opened up new avenues
And shored up my crumbling bank
You gave me new desires
And showed me my world frank

Your passion plays your deeper mind
Your compassion shows your trust
Your spirit shows your gift for life
Your laughter shows your lust

To write or speak about you
Would a lengthy novel take
But in short bursts, and now and then
Sweet memories I’ll rake

My Valentine

Oh valentine, Oh valentine
Would you be mine, Oh would you be mine
Your gift of time, to me a treasure
A day with you is mine to pleasure

Give me your seconds, your minutes your hours
I’ll give you mine, my heart and flowers
A movie a show, a fast food dinner
My time with you is always a winner

I give you jewels, fine clothes and travels
You give me joy as my heart unravels
I always get the better deal
Because time with you makes my soul feel

Sweet and happy, or tired and grumpy
I take you whole, however bumpy
Early in the morning or late late at night
When I’m with you, I’m at my height

So Valentine, Dear valentine
Would you be mine, Oh would you be mine
Come with me and spend your time
And together our life will be just fine.
